IMAGO BUILDING FIRST FLOOR THEATRE
Imago Theatre is a flexible performance space, primarily used in a proscenium setting and is wheel-chair accessible. All seats have great visibility and the theater seats approximately 197. The playing area is approximately 45-feet wide by 40-feet deep. The stage floor is sprung wood. Renters are required to provide liability insurance rider and full rental fee prior to event. Each renter must provide their own box office, front-of-house staff and ticketing process and staff.

INSURANCE RIDER REQUIREMENT
Comprehensive general liability (personal injury and property damage insurance) having combined single limit of at least $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Renters agrees to provide a certificate naming Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th in the rider.

MARQUEE
Renters can utilize a glass marquee which faces 8th avenue.
SEATING CAPACITY
Seating capacity for proscenium presentations is roughly 200 seats. The theater capacity is 299 seats. The seats are raked from the stage floor which is level to the room floor, in other words its like gymnasium bleachers (however the seats are padded and have backs.)
STAGE FLOOR AND PLAYING AREA
The stage floor is an old dance floor. It is sprung. Its is very creaky. We do not own a marley floor. The playing area is roughly 44' deep (unless you add backstage cross over and dressing room then it would be 35' deep.) The playing area is is 45' wide. The I-beam height is 14'2" and the grid hieght is 15'3".
SOFT GOODS
All black velour, dead hung on pipes. Eight legs each 12' X15'. One full black out curtain 50' X 15'. One orange front curtain, hand pulled and tied off on pin rail 45' X 15'.
PIN RAIL
An old fashion pin rail is available downstage right for tying lines.
GRID
The theatre is equipped with grid for hanging lights, soft goods and rigging. See drawing for location of grid.
LADDERS
To reach grid an assortment of ladders are available.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Imago Theatre does not provide FOH staff, telephone or ticket sales services. However, Imago renters may contract Imago staff for services.
TICKET AGENCY
Imago Theatre uses TicketsWest as our ticket agent.
WHAT YOU GET
The theatre is handed to you with soft goods hung in a standard proscenium setting with four set of legs and a black out curtain. The lighting instruments are not hung. There is no house plot. You must contract for hanging lighting instruments. The sound system is mounted in a standard proscenium position.
WHAT YOU DON'T GET
Please provide your own consumables such as gaffers's tape, color gel, gobo's, black wrap, etc.
